It’s time again forFull Metal Alchemist Brotherhood episode update! This week’s episode is entitled “The Hidden Truth”.
This week we’ll be seeing Edward Elric along with his brother Alphonse going to the National Central Library 1st branch, after given the information by Dr. Marcoh.
I haven’t watched the episode, but don’t you think the series so far seems to be running at a speedy pace? I heard some people have been saying that this Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is going to be a one-year only series. But if that’s the case, would Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood be as deep and engaging like the first (anime adaptation of) Full Metal Alchemist? I mean, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood has been great so far, but it’s not as “deep” as the first Full Metal Alchemist (yet).
That’s just my opinion though, what do you think?

Well I think its hard for it to be as engaging when there are subtitles. You have to spend that much more attention on reading as you would otherwise be just soaking it up. I think the animation, coloring, etc. is excellent, although that might just be because you have the wide-screen MKV (thank you!) I’m looking forward to seeing this version of the story play out. I hope they have lots of episodes, but if not, then I will cry many QQ tears.

I don’t know, i’m used to reading subtitles all of my life, cos i always love foreign movies and shows. it doesn’t bother me at all. i learn a little bit of japanese this way.
