Yea Admin is right, it is spose to follow the story line of the manga, idk how well it is going to (i hope exactly every detail) but i guess we will just have to wait and see

Draken, as you may already know, the first “season” of FMA was such a hit, and many fans were left disappointed of how quick the show has ended. Apart from that, some fans also left disappointed of HOW the show ended.

For your information, the “first” season started by following the original storyline from the manga, for which it was adapted from. But as you know, anime episodes usually progress faster than manga (well, in manga you only got like 17 pages per WEEK) so halfway of the story, the anime strayed off from the manga storyline and ended on its own. This upsets some of FMA manga followers.

Because of demands, they’re making the NEW version of Full Metal Alchemist and that is what this new Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is all about. It’s not exactly a “remake”, because it WON’T end the same way the first one had. It’s more like a brand new series of Fullmetal Alchemist which will follow the MANGA storyline from START to END.

That was why you see the preview of episode 3 looks just the same like episode 1 in season 1. That’s because that’s how the manga started. Though, you’ll see how the story will progress differently than what we already saw in the season 1.

Well i dont see the link between season 1 and 2… cuz didnt edward offerd himself up to give al his body back :S
how can he be back.. think its kinda lame cuz when i saw preview of epi3 i looks a hell lot like epi 1 of season 1.
i would appriciate some explanation cuz i just dont get it, and im not think about watching it if it a prequel or remake something like that..
plz explain some to me

*cough* Of course the new seiyuu for Ed sounds similar to Romi Paku… because it IS Romi Paku. lmao

Rie Kugimiya back this for series as Al too.

Ookawa, as Roy, however, has been replaced. As well as Winry and a few others.

Fujiwara is back as Hughs though.
